Our emerging civil society is under significant attack from the government – we are trying to avoid bloodshed at all costs but there are numerous politically motivated detentions, reports of torture and even deaths. On behalf of all Belarusians I plea for your support to denounce the current elections in Belarus as a criminal attempt by the current president Alexander Lukashenko to remain in office. Our emerging civil society is under significant attack from the government – we are trying to avoid bloodshed at all costs but there are numerous politically motivated detentions, reports of torture, and even deaths. We are appealing to the international community to help us make our voices heard and were hoping you could send a message of support to all Belarusians fighting the injustice. We are happy to provide any additional info that could help you take a stand with us.
Please stand with us in supporting free and fair elections and continued growth of democratic movements and institutions in Belarus. Please advocate for Belarus and add this matter to your policy platform. Thank you
